On June 21, 2026, four units of the Huajin Aramco Fine Chemicals and Raw Materials Project—contracted by Sinopec Shanghai Engineering Co., Ltd. as the general contractor—simultaneously achieved high-standard mechanical completion and handover. These units include a 200,000 t/y high-density polyethylene (HDPE) unit, a 300,000 t/y propylene oxide (PO) unit, a 590,000 t/y ethylene oxide/ethylene glycol (EO/EG) unit, and a 200,000 t/y polyether polyol unit.
