In August 2026, China's imports of liquid caustic soda reached 36.7 tons, representing a year-on-year increase of 120.9% and a month-on-month increase of 72.0%. For the January–August period, total imports of liquid caustic soda amounted to 242.6 tons, down 2.5% year-on-year.
