This week, the domestic sulfur market declined on a weakening note. Demand from fertilizers, the dominant downstream products, remained persistently soft, which eroded market sentiment. Holders of inventories proactively adjusted their selling strategies to move product. The domestically produced sulfur market followed suit, with trading sentiment turning subdued.
Raw material prices have undergone modest adjustments, and profit margins have shifted slightly in recent weeks. As costs and prices may see further changes going forward, profit levels are expected to continue adjusting.
On the data release date, Chempricehub Information compiles China's sulfur-burning acid raw material prices together with producer prices and market prices of sulfur-burning acid enterprises in East China to conduct theoretical profit monitoring.
