During this period, domestic DBP market prices trended downward with fluctuations. It is reported that both key raw materials for DBP—n-butanol and phthalic anhydride—exhibited declining trends, with phthalic anhydride experiencing a more significant drop in price. Consequently, cost-side support for DBP prices weakened, further dampening downstream buyers' willingness to take delivery. As a result, overall market inquiry activity remained sluggish, transaction volumes were low, and prices stayed depressed. Producers primarily focused on actively offering discounts to facilitate sales. Towards the end of the week, some plants shut down their units, reducing market supply. This slowdown in supply helped moderate the pace of price declines, though the overall trend remained downward with fluctuations.
