Domestic Anhydrous Hydrogen Fluoride Market Experienced Minor Upward Fluctuations This Week (Jan 26–29)
Published on 2026-01-29

The latest bidding prices for the domestic hydrofluoric acid market have been finalized, with the latest delivered bidding prices in the Jiangsu-Zhejiang region ranging from 11,900 to 12,100 yuan per ton, showing a slight increase of 0–100 yuan per ton compared to the previous period. According to the analysis system of Business Society, as of January 29, the benchmark price of hydrofluoric acid was 13,066.67 yuan per ton, representing a 0.26% increase from the beginning of the month.

On the raw material side: This week, the prices of raw materials such as fluorite and sulfuric acid remained high, providing solid cost support for anhydrous hydrofluoric acid. It is expected that hydrofluoric acid will maintain a stable and moderately strong trend before the holiday. According to the analysis system of Business Society, as of January 29, the benchmark price of fluorite was 3,412.50 yuan per ton, an increase of 0.37% compared to the beginning of the month (3,400.00 yuan per ton).

On the demand side: The downstream refrigerant industry is approaching the end of the year, with production quotas nearly exhausted, leading to overall weak demand and procurement primarily based on immediate needs. Market participants are largely adopting a wait-and-see attitude, with low enthusiasm for purchasing. Market prices lack upward momentum, and operations are expected to remain weak and stable in the short term, focusing on fulfilling contractual orders.

Future market outlook: Raw material prices for fluorite and sulfuric acid remain high, providing some support. However, downstream demand is weak, with procurement mainly driven by essential needs, resulting in limited support from the demand side. It is anticipated that the market price of anhydrous hydrofluoric acid will remain stable with a moderately strong trend in the near future. Further attention should be paid to changes in market supply and demand dynamics.
