Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) Approval Granted for Huai'an Polyurethane Series Products Construction Project

Recently, the Huai’an Municipal Bureau of Ecology and Environment issued the "Reply on the Environmental Impact Report of the Phase I Construction of the Annual 348,000 Tons Polyurethane Series Products Project by Huai’an Hechuang Innovative Materials Technology Co., Ltd." The project is planned to be constructed in two phases:

  • Phase I includes the construction of production capacities for 97,500 tons of aliphatic polyols, 97,500 tons of aromatic polyols, 15,000 tons of MDI-based adhesives, and 15,000 tons of TDI-based adhesives annually.
  • Phase II will achieve production capacities of 16,000 tons of thermoplastic polyurethane elastomer (TPU), 16,000 tons of casting polyurethane elastomer (CPU), 8,000 tons of adipate plasticizers, 8,000 tons of benzoate plasticizers, 40,000 tons of waterborne polyurethane paint, and 35,000 tons of glycerol annually.
