Ethylene Glycol Industry Weekly Highlights (June 19-25, 2026)

  1. On June 24, the average daily shipment of ethylene glycol from the mainstream storage areas in Zhangjiagang was 2,250 tons, a month-on-month increase of 17.19%. The combined average daily shipment from the two warehouses in Taicang was 1,000 tons, a month-on-month increase of 233.33%.

  2. As of June 25, total ethylene glycol inventory at major East China ports stood at 549,000 tons, an increase of 20,000 tons from the previous period. Breakdown by location: Zhangjiagang 250,000 tons, Taicang 203,000 tons, Jiangyin and Changzhou 49,000 tons, Shanghai and Changshu 47,000 tons. In terms of shipments: during the period, the average daily shipment from Zhangjiagang was 1,900 tons, and from Taicang was approximately 700 tons.

  3. A 600,000-ton ethylene glycol unit in Xinjiang, originally scheduled for maintenance in July, has now been postponed to August. The plant's operating rate is currently largely stable.
