Juzhengyuan (Jieyang) 1.5 Million Tons/Year Acetic Acid Project Achieves Full Process Integration, Officially Enters Trial Production Phase

Published on 2026-01-08

On December 31, 2025, the first-phase 1.5 million tons/year acetic acid project of the Juzhengyuan (Jieyang) New Materials Base successfully completed all commissioning work, achieving a one-time successful introduction of syngas and full-process integration, officially entering the trial production stage. As the largest single-train acetic acid production facility in China, this project employs advanced industry process technology and had previously completed critical core phases such as equipment installation and system commissioning. The project progressed with a tight schedule, officially commencing feed-in on December 26, 2025, followed by the successful establishment of circulation in the distillation system. By December 31, full-process integration was achieved, marking the complete establishment of the entire chain from syngas introduction to stable system operation, laying a solid foundation for subsequent formal production.
