As of October 7, 2026, the total arrival volume of ethylene glycol in East China reached 76,500 tons, comprising 31,500 tons at Zhangjiagang, 26,000 tons at Taicang, and 19,000 tons at Jiangyin.
A 300,000-ton-per-year ethylene glycol unit in Anhui underwent a brief shutdown last weekend. Operations have since resumed, with the unit currently operating at a load rate of approximately 50%. This operating level is expected to be maintained for about 15 days.
