Notably, Guangdong ranked first in shipment volume, accounting for 40.76%, followed by Shandong at 21.46%, and Jiangsu at 18.33%.
In May, domestic DINP production in East China increased, intensifying regional competition. Differences in raw materials led to product quality variations, and DINP prices fell rapidly. In Jiangsu, the monthly price decline reached RMB 1,100/tonne. From May to June, export orders increased significantly. However, due to differences in domestic DINP product quality and certification requirements in certain regions, the supplier base for DINP exports remained relatively stable.
From May to June, five new DINP production lines were added domestically, leading to a notable increase in supply. Domestic consumption was insufficient, and market inventories grew slightly. Imports are expected to remain at low levels.
The supply increase has intensified regional competition, making exports an effective way to relieve local supply pressure. As of the current market, export orders in June remained strong, with temporary delivery backlogs occurring in Jiangsu. Export volumes in June are expected to stay at relatively high levels. However, as geopolitical tensions ease and crude oil prices decline, domestic DINP prices have also fallen. As of June 24, the price decline in Jiangsu had reached RMB 400/tonne. Owing to expectations of further price drops, inquiries for new export orders have gradually decreased, and export volumes in July–August are expected to decline.
