On September 11, the acetic acid market in North China moved higher, with delivered prices to surrounding areas at around CNY 3,800/t, up CNY 100/t. Inventories at acetic acid producers were relatively low, feedstock methanol provided strong support, market participants held a bullish sentiment, downstream buyers entered the market and followed up with on-demand purchases, and the acetic acid market continued its upward trend.
