Chempricehub, September 11 –
On September 11, the acetic acid market in South China moved higher, with ex-works prices quoted at around CNY4,050/mt on a self-pickup basis, up CNY100/mt. Acetic acid operating rates declined, while the feedstock methanol market remained high. With strong bullish support in the market and downstream buyers mainly purchasing on a need basis, the acetic acid market continued its upward trend.
