On February 10, the DBP market in Jiangsu region showed weak consolidation, with a quoted price of 7,800 yuan/ton. In Shandong region, the DBP market also exhibited weak consolidation, with a quoted price of 7,700 yuan/ton. Meanwhile, in Zhejiang region, the DBP market remained in a state of weak consolidation, with a quoted price of 7,900 yuan/ton. On the same day, the price of n-butanol, a raw material for the plasticizer DBP, declined from a high level, while phthalic anhydride prices remained in weak consolidation. The price of isooctanol also fell, leading to a weak decline in the cost of DBP raw materials. PVC prices fluctuated within a narrow range, and downstream demand remained sluggish. DBP production equipment experienced a slight reduction in operating rates, though supply remained sufficient. DBP factory inventories were low, and downstream customers showed moderate purchasing enthusiasm. Transaction prices were subject to negotiation, with DBP prices ranging between 7,700 and 7,900 yuan/ton. Overall, the DBP market remained in a state of weak consolidation, with downward pressure persisting and upward momentum weakening.
