On February 2, the DBP market in Jiangsu region stabilized, with quotations at 8,000 yuan/ton. In Shandong region, the DBP market remained steady, with quotations at 7,900 yuan/ton, while in Zhejiang region, the DBP market also stabilized, with quotations at 8,100 yuan/ton. On the same day, the price of n-butanol, a raw material for plasticizer DBP, experienced a fluctuating increase, while the phthalic anhydride market showed weak consolidation. The price of isooctanol remained weakly stable. The cost of DBP raw materials exhibited weak consolidation, and PVC prices fluctuated with consolidation. Downstream demand remained sluggish. DBP enterprises slightly increased equipment utilization, leading to sufficient DBP supply. DBP factory inventories were at low levels, and downstream customers showed moderate purchasing enthusiasm. Transaction prices were subject to negotiation, with DBP prices ranging from 7,900 to 8,100 yuan/ton. DBP prices stabilized, though downward pressure persisted while upward momentum weakened. Overall, the DBP market remained weakly stable for the time being.
