On February 4, the DBP market in Jiangsu region remained weak and stable, with quotations at 8,000 yuan/ton. In Shandong region, the DBP market was also weak and stable, with quotations at 7,900 yuan/ton. In Zhejiang region, the DBP market showed a weak and stable trend, with quotations at 8,100 yuan/ton. On February 4, the price of n-butanol, a raw material for the plasticizer DBP, declined from high levels, while phthalic anhydride prices remained weak and range-bound. The price of isooctanol also weakened and declined. The cost of DBP raw materials experienced a weak decline. PVC prices fluctuated within a narrow range, and downstream demand remained sluggish. DBP production equipment operated at a slightly increased capacity, ensuring ample supply. DBP factory inventories were at low levels, while downstream customers showed moderate purchasing enthusiasm. Transaction prices were subject to negotiation, with DBP prices ranging from 7,850 to 8,100 yuan/ton. DBP prices remained weak and range-bound, with downward pressure persisting and upward momentum weakening, indicating a weak and consolidating market trend for DBP.
