On February 6, the DBP market in Jiangsu region was weak and consolidating, with a quoted price of 7,850 yuan/ton. In Shandong region, the DBP market was also weak and consolidating, with a quoted price of 7,750 yuan/ton. In Zhejiang region, the DBP market was similarly weak and consolidating, with a quoted price of 7,950 yuan/ton. On February 6, the price of n-butanol, a raw material for the plasticizer DBP, fell from a high level, while the phthalic anhydride market remained weak and consolidating. The price of isooctanol showed a weak decline. The cost of DBP raw materials experienced a weak decline, while PVC prices fluctuated and consolidated. Downstream demand remained sluggish. DBP production equipment saw a slight increase in operating rates, leading to sufficient DBP supply. DBP factory inventories were at low levels, and downstream customers showed moderate purchasing enthusiasm. Transaction prices were subject to negotiation, with DBP prices ranging from 7,750 to 7,950 yuan/ton. The DBP market remained weak and consolidating, with downward pressure persisting and upward momentum weakening. Overall, the DBP market continued to exhibit weak consolidation.
