The mainstream market price for heavy soda ash was around 1,220–1,300 yuan/ton. The operating rate of soda ash production slightly increased, and market inventory saw some growth. Downstream purchasing followed demand, while the trading atmosphere in the market remained subdued. Industry participants maintained a wait-and-see attitude. In the short term, the soda ash market in North China is expected to operate steadily.
