On January 29, the domestic BDO market remained stable.

Published on 2026-01-29

Market Dynamics:
The BDO market in East China is consolidating sideways. Supply is ample, with weak support from the supply side. Downstream demand shows no significant increase, and supply-demand pressure persists. Spot transactions in the trade market are negotiated, with market sentiment remaining stable and subdued.
In South China, the BDO market is also consolidating within a range. The supply-demand fundamentals lack strong support, and industry participants maintain a cautious approach to procurement and sales, with transactions primarily driven by rigid demand contracts. Holders exhibit weak sentiment in operations, leading to a stagnant and weak market trend.

Price Dynamics:
In East China, mainstream spot bulk water negotiations are at 7,300–7,500 RMB/ton, while drum-packed negotiations are at 8,300–8,500 RMB/ton (delivered with acceptance).
In South China, mainstream spot bulk water negotiations are at 7,500–7,700 RMB/ton, while drum-packed negotiations are at 8,500–8,700 RMB/ton (delivered with acceptance).

Some companies have announced new settlement prices and listed prices.
