On July 28, 2026, CNOOC Refining & Petrochemicals Co., Ltd. issued a tender announcement for the optimization and revamp project of the acrylic acid unit at Huizhou Petrochemical. The 140,000-ton-per-year unit was commissioned in September 2012. The technical renovation funds for this project are self-financed by the enterprise, with a planned service period of 30 months.
