On July 28, 2026, CNOOC Refining and Chemicals Co., Ltd. released a tender announcement for the optimization and revamp project of the acrylic acid unit at Huizhou Petrochemical. The 140,000 t/a unit was commissioned in September 2012. The funds for this technical revamp are self-raised by the enterprise, with a planned service duration of 30 months.
