ChemPriceHub, November 4 – The ethyl acetate market in North China remained weak on November 4. Factory-gate prices were around RMB 6,545 per tonne, down by RMB 90 per tonne. Downstream buyers adopted a wait-and-see approach with minimal procurement, while producers’ shipments were moderate. Weakening raw material costs and subdued market sentiment led to downward adjustments in quoted prices by ethyl acetate producers, with actual transaction prices subject to negotiation.
