On November 6, the ex-works price of acetic acid in Zhejiang Province was around RMB 4,100 per ton, reflecting a decrease of RMB 75 per ton. Downstream consumers were reluctant to accept high prices, resulting in moderate purchasing demand. Meanwhile, the methanol market remained weak, dampening market sentiment and sustaining the downward trend in acetic acid prices.
