ChemPriceHub, October 14 – Acetic acid prices in the North China region declined on October 14. Delivered prices from nearby areas were around CNY 4,675/ton, down by CNY 75/ton. Operating rates for acetic acid production increased slightly, while methanol feedstock prices fell. Market sentiment weakened, with downstream buyers purchasing primarily on an as-needed basis, leading to a continued downward trend in the acetic acid market.
