On October 20, the phthalic anhydride (PA) plant of Changzhou Xinyang, with a capacity of 100,000 tons per year, was shut down for maintenance. Due to oversold inventory conditions, the PA quote was set at CNY 10,650/ton, representing a decrease of CNY 50/ton.
