On September 11, the PVC market in Linyi retreated from highs. Futures trended lower amid volatility, and the spot market followed the decline. Distributors’ offers fell by RMB 30–50/mt, with market participants mainly staying on the sidelines and trading remaining lackluster. Currently, mainstream offers for calcium carbide-based Type 5 PVC are in the range of RMB 4,920–5,000/mt.
