On September 23, the market for butyl acetate in North China remained weak. Ex-works prices were around RMB 8,235 per ton, down by RMB 10 per ton. With butyl acetate prices at elevated levels, downstream buyers showed some resistance. Producers adjusted their sentiment accordingly, leading to a downward trend in negotiated prices. Actual transactions were subject to individual negotiations.
