Chempricehub, September 28 — On September 28, the acetic acid market in South China experienced a price increase. Ex-factory prices were quoted at approximately RMB 4,650/ton on an ex-works basis, reflecting an upward adjustment of RMB 25/ton. With low inventory levels among acetic acid producers and strong seller support for higher prices, downstream buyers remained cautious, purchasing primarily on an as-needed basis. Consequently, the acetic acid market trended firmly stronger.
