On September 29, trading sentiment in the liquid caustic soda market in Xinjiang improved. Currently, the mainstream ex-factory price for 32% ion-membrane caustic soda is around RMB 2,300–2,350 per ton (100% NaOH basis), while that for 50% ion-membrane caustic soda stands at approximately RMB 2,400–2,450 per ton (100% NaOH basis). Producers are primarily selling to downstream customers in neighboring regions.
