① [Chempricehub] Oct 26: Mediators continue to push for US-Iran peace talks, slightly alleviating market concerns over supply risks, leading to a decline in international oil prices. NYMEX WTI crude oil futures (December contract) closed at $101.76/bbl, down $1.51/bbl (-1.46% WoW); ICE Brent crude oil futures (December contract) closed at $115.81/bbl, down $0.91/bbl (-0.78% WoW). China INE crude oil futures (contract 2612) rose by 22.7 yuan to 739.7 yuan/barrel during the day session but fell by 6.4 yuan to 733.3 yuan/barrel in the night session.
② Today, the domestic cyclohexanone capacity utilization rate is approximately 59.8%. The trend toward integrated cyclohexanone-caprolactam production has matured, with most plants co-producing caprolactam. Commodity cyclohexanone supply remains stable, and downstream fiber orders are being fulfilled on an as-needed basis.
③ Sinopec refineries in East, South, and Central China have reduced pure benzene prices by 200 yuan/ton to 10,600 yuan/ton, effective October 16.
Table 1: Domestic Cyclohexanone Price Summary (Unit: Yuan/Ton)

Based on the East China market, today's cyclohexanone price reference stands at 11,700 yuan/ton, essentially unchanged from the previous trading day. Raw material cost pressures persist, while spot supply of cyclohexanone remains stable. Downstream buyers are cautious about chasing higher prices, resulting in a stalemate and volatile market conditions.

Today, the integration between cyclohexanone and caprolactam production continues to improve. Consequently, the supply of commodity cyclohexanone has decreased, and order follow-up from the chemical fiber sector remains limited.
(Note: Figures 3 and 4 regarding capacity utilization trends and profit-price comparisons are omitted as per instructions.)
Pure benzene is expected to trade in a volatile range, maintaining pressure on costs. With low capacity utilization for commodity cyclohexanone and downstream buyers purchasing primarily based on immediate needs, the short-term cyclohexanone market is projected to fluctuate and consolidate in line with pure benzene trends.
Pure Benzene Market: On October 27, the East China pure benzene spot market faced downward pressure, with negotiated references ranging from 10,350 to 10,580 yuan/ton, largely consistent with morning forecasts. Weakening crude oil prices significantly dampened spot market sentiment. Although expectations of weak demand are competing with other factors, the reality of low inventory and underlying cost support has led to a rebound after initial price declines.
Caprolactam: Today, the East China caprolactam market price was quoted at 13,900 yuan/ton (accepted bill of exchange, delivered), holding steady compared to the previous working day. The caprolactam market remained in a stalemate. Some producers raised their offers to 14,100 yuan/ton, while downstream users continued to bid lower. The market persists in a supply-demand tug-of-war, currently lacking clear transactional guidance.
