On October 13, Tongling Chemical Industry Group reported that its phthalic anhydride (PA) production capacity stands at 80,000 tons per year. The ortho-xylene-based PA unit is operating normally. The quoted price for PA is RMB 10,300/ton, marking a rise of RMB 100/ton. Actual transaction prices have also increased. Due to tight supply, sales are being rationed, and final pricing for actual orders is subject to negotiation.
