PTA Industry Weekly Highlights (May 8-14, 2026)

  1. Domestic PTA weekly production this period was 1.1913 million tons, down by 46,800 tons from last week.
  2. Domestic PTA weekly capacity utilization was 62.22%, down by 2.42 percentage points from last week.
  3. The weekly average operating rate of the polyester industry was 81.10%, up by 0.03 percentage points from last week.
  4. This week's PTA social inventory was approximately 3.9022 million tons, down by 193,900 tons week-on-week.
  5. The average PTA processing fee this week was 402.40 yuan per ton, up by 37.40 yuan per ton from last week.
