Chempricehub News, September 4 – The mainstream toluene market quotation in the Shandong region ranged at 7,800–7,830 yuan/ton, down 10 yuan/ton from the previous trading day. Recently, spot prices of toluene and xylene have moved up. With overnight crude oil continuing to strengthen and domestic spot supply of toluene/xylene remaining tight, holders showed a strong stance of supporting prices and hoarding supply. However, downstream buyers maintained a need-based procurement approach, causing spot market prices to fluctuate at high levels.
