The mainstream quoted price range for toluene in the Shandong region was CNY 8,970–9,000/ton, up by CNY 50/ton compared to the previous trading day. Toluene and xylene prices fluctuated within a narrow band during the previous session. Domestic supply of both aromatics remained tight, providing continued support to the market. Downstream buyers engaged in rigid-demand procurement, resulting in moderate overall trading activity. The market is expected to maintain high-level volatility.
