Shanxi Releases List of Provincial Key Engineering Projects for 2026: 12 Modern Coal Chemical Projects Included

On January 5, the People's Government of Shanxi Province released the list of provincial-level key engineering projects for 2026, comprising a total of 629 projects, including 12 projects related to modern coal chemical industry.

Modern Coal Chemical Projects are as follows:

  1. Lanhua Coal Chemical Energy Conservation and Environmental Protection Upgrade Project — Jincheng City
  2. Jinxin New Energy Annual 250,000-ton LNG, Annual 200 Million Cubic Meters Hydrogen Energy, and Supporting Coking Project — Linfen City
  3. Lingshi Tianxing Coke Oven Gas to LNG, PSA (Pressure Swing Adsorption) Hydrogen Purification, and Integrated Hydrogen Production and Refueling Station Project — Jinzhong City
  4. Jiexiu Ruixin 60,000 Nm³/h Coke Oven Gas Carbon Emission Reduction to LNG with Co-production of Hydrogen Energy (Liquid Ammonia Blending) Project — Jinzhong City
  5. Tianze Coal Chemical Green New Materials Integrated Construction and Gasification Upgrade Project (including 3 sub-projects) — Jincheng City
  6. Shanxi Shengtong Annual 1.2 Million Tons Low-Rank Coal Grading and Chain Extension Phase I Project — Changzhi City
  7. Yuncheng Yongdong Chemical 2×100,000 Tons Annual Anthracene Oil Deep Processing Project — Yuncheng City
  8. Guxian Zequan Coke Oven Gas to Annual 150,000-ton LNG Project — Linfen City
  9. Lingshi Yi'an 55,000 Nm³/h Coke Oven Gas Carbon Emission Reduction Comprehensive Utilization Project — Jinzhong City
  10. China Coal Pingshuo Coal-Based Olefin New Materials and Downstream Deep Processing Integrated Project (Preliminary) — Shuozhou City
  11. Yuanping Runjin Multi-Energy Complementary Production of Green Low-Carbon Fine Chemical Raw Materials Project (Preliminary) — Xinzhou City
