South China toluene prices have been raised, while the aromatics market remains stable with a bullish bias.

Published on 2026-10-09

Chempricehub, October 9 – The mainstream quote for toluene in the South China market stood at RMB 9,150–9,300/ton today, up by RMB 100/ton from the previous trading day. Toluene and xylene prices have generally risen since the holiday, supported by strong crude oil fundamentals boosting aromatic futures. Robust chemical demand and an opened export arbitrage window provide solid supply-demand support. Major refineries have raised their posted prices, with spot markets following suit. Prices are expected to maintain a stable yet bullish trend.
