According to assessment data, South Korea’s total benzene exports from August 1–31, 2026 amounted to 236,387 metric tons, all of which were shipped to mainland China. In the corresponding period of 2025 (August 1–31), South Korea exported a total of 199,277 metric tons of benzene, comprising 190,417 metric tons to mainland China, 6,003 metric tons to Taiwan, and 2,857 metric tons to Japan.
