Chempricehub, August 7 - Alumina producers in the Xiaoyi area of Shanxi have raised their procurement price for liquid caustic soda by RMB 50/ton for August 2026. The delivered price of 50% ion-exchange membrane caustic soda from chlor-alkali enterprises in Shanxi, Shaanxi, and Inner Mongolia is RMB 2,140/ton (on a 100% basis). Some enterprises have slightly higher delivered prices due to transportation distance.
