The Changshu fluorine chemical project will add new hydrofluoric acid (HF) supply capacity.

Chempricehub, September 14 – Changshu 3F Fluorochemical Co., Ltd. has completed the construction of its annual production capacity of 2,000 tons of hexafluoropropylene and associated supporting facilities. Commissioning began on September 1 with a planned duration of three months; the project also produces hydrofluoric acid as a by-product at an annual rate of 610 tons. Additionally, the Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) document for another project—an annual production capacity of 12,000 tons of novel refrigerants (with a by-product output of 6,800 tons/year of hydrofluoric acid)—entered the public notice phase for preliminary approval on September 3.
