On December 31, 2025, the 1.5 million tons/year acetic acid project at the Juzhengyuan (Jieyang) New Materials Base successfully completed all commissioning procedures. The synthesis gas was introduced successfully in a single attempt, achieving full-process integration and officially entering the trial production phase. The project officially obtained trial production filing on December 23. With the high-level attention and strong support from leaders at all levels in Jieyang City, the Greater Nanhai Management Committee, and relevant functional departments, the project underwent professional guidance, efficient approvals, and comprehensive safeguards, ensuring a smooth transition from construction to trial production. As the largest single-train acetic acid production facility in China, the project employs advanced process technology and has successfully completed critical stages such as equipment installation and system commissioning. The facility began feeding materials on December 26, establishing circulation in the distillation system. By December 31, the entire process was fully integrated, marking the comprehensive achievement of the acetic acid project from synthesis gas introduction to system operation, with overall progress proceeding in an orderly manner.
