First, Price Trends According to the business society commodity market analysis system, the price of bromopyrogen has risen overall this month. The average market price at the beginning of the month was 33,200 yuan per ton, and by the weekend, it had increased to 36,100 yuan per ton, marking an 8.73% increase from the previous month and a 64.84% increase compared to the same period last year. On December 30th, the business society bromopyrogen index stood at 125.61, remaining unchanged compared to yesterday, and had dropped 48.77% from its peak point of 245.18 on October 27, 2021, and rose 113.19% from the lowest point of 58.92 on October 29, 2014. (Note: The reference period refers to September 1, 2011, until now.)
Second, Market Analysis This week, the bromopyrogen prices in Shandong region have been firm and running. The spot factory price is quoted between 35,500-36,500 yuan/ton, with the current mainstream transaction price reaching 36,000 yuan/ton. Due to weather and policy reasons, domestic bromopyrogen companies' inventory remains tight, and the industry's operating rate is below par. However, downstream enterprises' procurement enthusiasm is average. In terms of raw materials: domestic sulfur prices have been rising, with the initial market average price being 3,867.67 yuan/ton at the beginning of the month and the end market average price being 3,661 yuan/ton, a decrease of 5.34%, and up 116.5% compared to the same period last year. Downstream demand is still decent. It is predicted that the bromopyrogen price will continue to be strong this month, while the supply for the upstream sulfur prices will be weaker. The bromopyrogen supply will remain tight, but downstream enterprises will continue to procure according to their needs, continuing the mindset of purchasing as needed, resulting in a generally dull market trading atmosphere. Overall, it is expected that bromopyrogen may continue to operate in a consolidated pattern, depending on downstream market demand.
