Tianqi Lithium's Talison Phase III Expansion Project Commences Production, Successfully Yields First Batch of Chemical-Grade Lithium Concentrate

On January 30, Tianqi Lithium announced that the Phase III expansion project for chemical-grade lithium concentrate at its subsidiary Talison has completed preliminary commissioning and successfully produced its first batch of qualified chemical-grade lithium concentrate products on the same day, marking the official commencement of the trial production phase. The announcement further stated that the project will accelerate efforts to ramp up production capacity, striving to achieve the targeted full-capacity production as scheduled. Meanwhile, the company will continue to conduct commissioning and optimization of the project to ensure continuous and stable production. The successful commissioning of Talison’s Phase III project will provide a sustained and sufficient supply of raw materials for Tianqi Lithium’s lithium chemical product production bases both domestically and internationally. This will help the company achieve efficient matching of production capacity and resources, further enhance synergy across the upstream and downstream segments of the industrial chain, and is expected to improve the company’s overall profitability and market competitiveness.
