Recently, Tianyuan Co., Ltd. announced that its wholly-owned subsidiary, Yibin Tianyuan Haifeng Hetai Co., Ltd., plans to invest in the construction of a capacity expansion project for 100,000 tons per year of chloride-process titanium dioxide at the company's reserved site. According to the announcement, the total investment for this project amounts to 1.483 billion yuan, with funding sourced from the company's own resources. The construction period is set for 24 months. Tianyuan Co., Ltd. stated that chloride-process titanium dioxide is a core business in the high-performance new materials sector under the company's "One Body, Two Wings" strategy. This capacity expansion will not only help enhance the overall production capacity of the company's titanium dioxide products and strengthen its market competitiveness but will also align closely with the company's integrated circular industrial development plan of "chlorine–titanium–phosphorus–iron–lithium," enabling the efficient and resourceful utilization of solid waste.
