In the South China region, the mainstream quotation range for xylene is between 5,900 and 6,000 yuan per ton, marking an increase of 50 yuan per ton compared to the previous trading day. The listed prices for xylene from Sinopec South China Company are as follows: Guangzhou Petrochemical's isomer grade is set at 6,000 yuan per ton, Maoming Petrochemical's isomer grade at 6,000 yuan per ton, and Sinopec-Zhongke Refining and Chemical's isomer grade at 6,000 yuan per ton. Domestically, the prices of toluene and xylene have shown a slight weakening trend and may continue to fluctuate downward within the day. Coupled with a deepening decline in crude oil prices, market sentiment remains bearish. Although current inventory levels are low, the pre-Chinese New Year destocking by refineries is expected to bring an increase in supply, putting short-term price pressure and leading to a predominantly weak and fluctuating market.
