Introduction: Recently, stearic acid prices have been on the rise. As of July 17th, the mainstream market negotiation price for lauric acid in East China reached 9,400-9,500 RMB/ton, an increase of 100 RMB/ton from the previous period. This round of stearic acid price increases is primarily driven by rising raw material costs and a tightening supply side. Driven by the rebound in crude oil prices, palm oil prices have slightly increased, leading to a rise in stearic acid prices, along with some increase in supply.
