  1. 9/11: Although tensions in the Middle East remain, diplomatic efforts by multiple parties to ease risks have led to a decline in international crude oil prices. Operating rates across downstream industries are adjusting within narrow ranges, with procurement primarily driven by rigid demand. While ethylene market supply remains relatively tight, buyer demand and pricing dynamics suggest that prices will likely consolidate in a stalemate pattern, supported by cost factors. Spot liquidity in the monomer market remains constrained; downstream procurement continues to be based on immediate needs, with buyers maintaining a cautious stance toward rapid price increases. Transactions are largely negotiated on a case-by-case basis depending on volume. Consequently, the price of EPEG in the primary East China market is projected to range between CNY 10,800–11,000/ton today.
