On November 5, the acetic acid market in South China declined. The ex-factory price for self-pickup was quoted at approximately RMB 4,100/ton, down by RMB 75/ton. Weakening upstream methanol prices and moderate downstream procurement demand led to sluggish trading activities among merchants. Market participants remain bearish, and the short-term outlook for the acetic acid market is weak.
