Chempricehub, Oct. 14 — On October 14, Shenhua Bayannur in Inner Mongolia held an auction for methanol with a starting price of RMB 3,100/tonne and a total volume of 1,970 tonnes. All lots were sold at final prices ranging from RMB 3,170 to RMB 3,180 per tonne. The plant’s 100,000-tonne-per-year methanol unit, utilizing coke oven gas as feedstock, is operating stably.
