Domestic Butadiene Auction and Sales Update for Select Enterprises on October 20:

Satellite Chemical sold 336 metric tons for export at an auction starting price of RMB 13,200/ton. Dongming Petrochemical sold 308 metric tons for export at an auction starting price of RMB 13,100/ton. On the supply side, refinery operating rates remained stable, resulting in ample spot availability. Downstream enterprises’ demand-driven procurement has picked up, leading to improved transaction volumes. In the short term, the market is expected to remain within a narrow fluctuation range.
