① Today, the Bisphenol A (BPA) market remained stable, with limited trading activity.
② Today, phenol prices rose significantly, while acetone prices fell sharply; however, overall cost values increased slightly.

Based on the East China region as a benchmark, today's East China BPA price closed at 11,200 CNY/ton, within a range of 11,100–11,300 CNY/ton, remaining stable compared to the previous trading day and consistent with morning expectations. The BPA market fluctuated within this range today. Producers maintained stable pricing, inventories remained low, downstream inquiry sentiment was weak, and trading signs were insufficient. Holders adopted a calm and steady stance, leading to a stable transition in the market.
Today, the BPA capacity utilization rate hovered around 63%, and the industry profit margin for BPA stood at -402 CNY/ton.
In the short term, the BPA market is expected to operate stably. Pre-holiday stockpiling is largely absent, rigid demand follow-up is insufficient, and holders remain calm with limited operational intent. Both buyers and sellers are mostly waiting for post-holiday opportunities, suggesting the market will maintain stability in the short term. It is recommended to closely monitor downstream actual procurement expectations and production/shipping plans of major producers. Caution is advised in operations.
Phenol: Based on the East China region, today's phenol price closed at 8,875 CNY/ton, an increase of 100 CNY/ton from the previous trading day. The domestic phenol market center of gravity moved higher today. Feedstock pure benzene continued its significant upward trend. High costs, combined with price hikes by phenol plants in Shandong, improved supplier sentiment, leading to aggressive quoting. As the holiday approaches, end-user purchasing has slowed, resulting in average trading performance.
Acetone: Based on the Jiangsu region, today's acetone price closed at 8,550 CNY/ton, a decrease of 175 CNY/ton from the previous trading day. The East China acetone market retreated today. Overall trading sentiment was cold, with end-user factories showing reduced willingness to restock, preferring to wait for clearer signals after the holiday. Holders quoted based on market trends and accelerated shipments to clear inventory. However, insufficient real transaction follow-through led to a decline in the market center of gravity.
Epoxy Resin: Based on the East China region, today's ex-factory price for liquid E-51 epoxy resin (net water basis) closed at 15,200–15,500 CNY/ton, remaining flat month-on-month. In the Huangshan area, the spot cash price for solid E-12 epoxy resin closed at 14,400–14,700 CNY/ton, unchanged from the previous trading day and consistent with morning market expectations. Feedstock prices remained temporarily stable, but downstream procurement enthusiasm was low. Trading atmosphere was quiet with few inquiries, causing the epoxy resin market to consolidate steadily.
Polycarbonate (PC): Today, the domestic PC market underwent narrow-range oscillation and consolidation. By afternoon close, the negotiated range for domestic PC materials in East China was 12,500–14,850 CNY/ton, with the overall negotiation center remaining basically stable compared to yesterday. This week, domestic PC plant ex-factory prices were adjusted downward by 300–600 CNY/ton. Zhejiang Petrochemical's auction opened flat with four rounds of transactions completed, down 100 CNY/ton from last week. In the spot market, both East and South China regions operated quietly. Although the cost side remains relatively firm, supply-demand bargaining power is still evident. Furthermore, with the National Day holiday approaching, external environmental uncertainties persist. Both buyers and sellers remain cautious and observant. Downstream in-market procurement and stockpiling weakened compared to yesterday, resulting in a thin trading atmosphere.
