Chempricehub, June 24 Report
On June 24, Sinopec South China's xylene ex-works price is set at 6,450 yuan/ton. The toluene and xylene markets continue to show a weak consolidation pattern. Overnight, crude oil and the aromatic bulk commodity night session continued to decline, providing weak cost support. Market sentiment remains cautious, with downstream players maintaining only demand-based procurement, resulting in low trading activity. However, month-end holding costs still provide some support, and production maintenance at some plants along with manageable port inventory levels limit the downside potential. Under the dominance of bearish factors, toluene and xylene prices are likely to maintain weak fluctuations in the short term.
